A body in motion stays in motion. The idea of a finish line should bother you - whether you crossed first, in the middle, last, or maybe not at all - it implies that you’re done. The journey’s over. You’ve reached the end. Now don’t get me wrong, finishing or winning a race is pretty incredible, and we celebrate competition here, but reaching a goal doesn’t mean the journey is over. It’s simply another step, followed by another, and another.
No matter where we started, or where we are at right now, everyone should be on a continual path of growth and maturity. Don’t allow yourself to fall into being content or lazy – don’t cross the finish line – maintain Inertia - keep moving, stay accountable, and never give up.
